These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by S-Security, Inc. ("S-Security," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or clicking to accept, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. The Services
S-Security provides cyber-defense services, including managed detection and response, threat intelligence, testing, and related tooling. Specific features, scope, and service levels are described in your order form, subscription plan, or master services agreement, which together with these Terms form the complete agreement. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features, with reasonable notice for material changes.
3. Accounts and registration
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, enabling multi-factor authentication where available, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@s-security.io if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- Use the Services to violate any law or third-party right;
- Attack, probe, or disrupt the Services or any systems other than those you are authorized to test;
- Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Services except as expressly permitted;
- Upload malware (except in sanctioned, sandboxed testing) or interfere with other customers' use; or
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Authorized security testing must follow the scope and rules of engagement we agree in writing. For research on our own platform, see our Responsible Disclosure Policy.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid Services are billed in advance on the cadence in your order (monthly or annually) and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated or required by law. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees and applicable taxes. We may suspend Services for non-payment after notice. Pricing for renewals may change with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, content, and trademarks, are owned by S-Security or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription. You retain ownership of your data; you grant us a license to process it solely to provide and improve the Services as described in your agreement and our Privacy Policy. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation.
7. Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with the service levels in your agreement. Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. No security solution can guarantee that every attack will be prevented; we commit to industry-leading effort and the SLAs in your agreement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless S-Security from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your data, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. On termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we will make your data available for export for a limited period before deletion, as described in your agreement and our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Where required, this section does not override mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
